The accomplished songwriter penned “The Ones That Didn’t Make It Back Home” alongside longtime producer Jeremy Stover, Paul Digiovanni and Chase McGill. Co-produced by Big Machine Label Group President/CEO Scott Borchetta, this is the first track from Moore’s next full length project, due 2019.
“The inspiration for this song hit on stage,” explained Moore. “Each night on tour before we play ‘If Heaven Wasn’t So Far Away,’ I talk about our great appreciation for the men and women of the military. Before kicking it off, I always ask the crowd to raise their drinks for the ‘ones that didn’t make it back home.’ It just stuck with me one night about nine months ago, and I knew we had to write this song.”
This new music follows two RIAA PLATINUM-certified albums, one RIAA GOLD-certified album, seven No. 1 singles and an ACM Award. Moore’s fans total more than 4.2 million on social media, and he notches more than 1.05 billion total streams.
Touring news for 2019 will be announced in the coming weeks. In the meantime, more information and tickets to select dates can be found at justinmooremusic.com.
