Brown Holds The Most Weeks At
#1 For Any Country Album
NASHVILLE, Tenn. – This week, multi-platinum selling artist Kane Brown achieves his 9th week at #1 on the BillboardTop Country Albums chart with his self-titled debut release. For the period since the Brown’s album debuted in December 2016, he now holds the feat of most weeks at #1 for any country album. In 2018, Kane Brown has been #1 on the Billboard album chart for 7 of 9 weeks and is the most-streamed country album year-to-date.
Brown’s Gold-Certified single “Heaven” is #1 for a third consecutive week on Nielsen’s On Demand Audio Core Country Streaming chart and is approaching Top 10 on airplay charts (#11 Country Aircheck/Mediabase and #12Billboard). “Heaven” replaced Brown’s Double-Platinum certified “What Ifs” at the top of the Audio Streaming chart. 2018’s most-streamed song, “What Ifs” is has held #1 for 18 weeks on Nielsen’s On Demand Audio Core Country Streaming chart.
Brown first topped the Billboard Top Country Albums chart with the release of his self-titled debut album in 2016 and again with the release of Kane Brown Deluxe Edition in 2017, which debuted at #1 on the Billboard Top Country Albums and Top 5 on Billboard 200 Charts. That same week, the singer-songwriter became the first-ever artist to top all five Billboard country charts simultaneously with his breakthrough #1 Top Country Album; #1 debuting Country Digital Song, “Heaven”; and #1 Country Airplay, Hot Country Song and Country Streaming Song, the Double-Platinum “What Ifs” featuring Lauren Alaina. Recently, Brown received a Guinness World Record certificate for this five #1 chart accomplishment.
