Impacting Country RadioFebruary 6
Nashville, TN – Breakout country sensation Kane Brown recently hit #1 on Billboard’s Top Country Albums chart with his full-length, self-titled debut album and Brown is now making his prime-time television debut on the CBS’ “Super Bowl Greatest Commercials 2017” on Tuesday, January 31, 7-8 PM Central Time, 8-9 PM Eastern/Pacific Time. Hosted by CBS Sports analyst Boomer Esiason and “NCIS: Los Angeles” star Daniela Ruah, Kane Brown will also be in the spotlight as part of the fun of the interactive countdown special with Entertainment Tonight co-host Kevin Frazier reporting from Brown’s concert at The House of Blues in Houston, TX.
On “Super Bowl Greatest Commercials 2017,” Kane Brown and his band will perform three songs featured on his debut album – “Hometown,” “Take It Off” and his newest single, “What Ifs.” The single recording of “What Ifs” features Lauren Alaina and is one of his album’s fan-favorites. Officially impacting country radio on Monday, February 6, Brown’s new single is produced by 9-time ACM Award-winning producer/musician Dann Huff and co-written by Brown, Matthew McGinn, and Jordan Schmidt.
Brown describes “What Ifs” as “a song talking about a relationship, and everybody’s always asking, ‘What if?’ Like, ‘what if this happened,’ ‘what if that happened,’ ‘what if you find somebody else,’ and it’s my most asked-about song on my album, and I hope people enjoy it as much as I think they’re going to enjoy it.”
Adding to the song’s urgent energy is the musical chemistry of Brown and Alaina, who are good friends, as well as former choirmates.
Brown’s self-titled RCA Nashville/Zone 4 album released on December 2, entering the chart at #1 and achieving country’s best-selling new-artist album debut since Sam Hunt in 2014. Debuting Top 10 on the Billboard 200 chart, the collection also earned Brown the #4 best new-artist album debut of 2016 in all genres.
Featuring 11 songs, including 7 co-written by Brown, the album is available for sale here.
