Smash Single Featuring Lauren Alaina Hits #1 This Week on Billboard Country Digital Song Sales Chart
Nashville, TN – Breakout country sensation Kane Brown has achieved his first RIAA Platinum certification with the smash success of his single “What Ifs,” featuring Lauren Alaina. Currently Top 5 and climbing on the country airplay charts, the song this week jumps to #1 on Billboard’s Country Digital Song Sales chart.
Co-written by Brown, Matthew McGinn, and Jordan Schmidt, “What Ifs” is from Brown’s chart-topping, self-titled RCA Nashville/Zone 4 album, helmed by 9-time ACM Award-winning producer/musician Dann Huff and Matthew McVaney.
This week, Brown was presented with a plaque commemorating the Platinum certification, and he celebrated the occasion with plaque presentations to his fellow songwriters, as well as song publishers Tree Vibez and Universal Music Publishing.
On October 6, country’s best-selling new-artist debut of the past two years adds four new Dann Huff-produced tracks for the release of Kane Brown Deluxe Edition . The 15-song collection features the full original album plus the four new songs, which include three Brown co-writes.
