NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Entering a new chapter as a solo artist, Sony Music Nashville’s Kat Luna today releases a heartfelt song, “That Girl.” Written by Luna alongside Rhett Akins and KK Johnson, fans will find two versions of the song available, one in English and one with mixed English and Spanish, with Erika Ender also co-writing the latter. Both versions of the song can be streamed HERE.

The empowering track explores the feeling of emerging stronger than before after a painful heartbreak, leading the narrator to reflect on why she’s no longer “that girl” she was in the past. Produced by Nathan Chapman (Taylor Swift, Keith Urban, Lady A), the song features Luna’s rich, powerhouse vocals and striking emotional delivery of the song.

Luna reflected on the track, sharing, “I’m so excited to be releasing ‘That Girl.’ This song is about choosing yourself, not settling for less than what you deserve, and leaving that chapter behind you. This is me stepping into my new era of who I really am, knowing my worth, and saying what I want to say. Writing ‘That Girl’ helped with my healing journey and I hope it helps others.”
