PHILADELPHIA, Pa. – In town for his 14-stadium Spread the Love Tour with Miranda Lambert, Big & Rich and Old Dominion, Kenny Chesney rocked 48,322 people at Lincoln Financial Field, home of the Philadelphia Eagles. After honoring Police Officer Christopher Dorman, who had been shot seven times – and had Tweeted a video “don’t forget me” from the hospital bed where he’s recovering, the man The Los Angeles Times called, “the people’s superstar,” brought a little girl onstage and presented her with an official Philadelphia Eagles football helmet. After twirling the young lady around a few times – to cheers from the crowd – Chesney finished out his two-hour show by more than living up to his tour name.
