“What If I Never Get Over You” Praised by Critics
as One of “Best Songs of 2019 So Far” (Billboard/Tennessean)
Ahead of Tomorrow’s National Television Debut
NASHVILLE, TN – Multi-PLATINUM trio Lady Antebellum will take over New York City’s Central Park tomorrow for Good Morning America‘s “2019 Summer Concert Series” (7/26 on ABC at 7:00A Local Time). The group’s performance will feature the television debut of their Top 25 single “What If I Never Get Over You,” which serves as the first taste of music from their upcoming debut album on BMLG Records. Additionally, they will kick-off the weekend with a multi-song set and livestream for fans unable to join in the park.
Lady A “recaptures a vintage sound” (Billboard) with “What If I Never Get Over You” as critics are latching onto “the heartbroken new song” while they progressively “dial up the drama” (Rolling Stone). As it continues to climb the charts at Country radio, the new single was one of only two Country tracks selected for Billboard’s “Best Songs of 2019 So Far” and was also hand-picked by the Tennesseean’s for their list of “Nashville’s Best Songs of 2019 (So Far).”
“With Charles Kelley and Hillary Scott trading leads, its pulsing foundation echoes the heartbeats of ‘Need You Now’ and ‘I Run to You,’ songs that embody the drive in much of Tom Petty’s work.” – Billboard
“Matters of the heart reign supreme…the first taste of their forthcoming full-length album offers comfort in aching familiarity.” – Entertainment Tonight
“A throwback to the trio’s early days…this one will be a smash.” – Newsday
“Lady A hit rewind in the best way with ‘What If I Never Get Over You.’ The longing duet between members Charles Kelley and Hillary Scott is a return to the types of songs on which the trio built its career — think ‘Need You Now” and “I Run to You.’” – Tennesseean
