Emerging Country Group Teams With Local Artist NERS
NASHVILLE, TN – Breakout band LANCO (Arista Nashville) made their mark on Nashville Tuesday (6/06) with a new interactive mural in Nashville’s trendy 12th South neighborhood. LANCO chose local artist NERS Neonlumberjack for his expertise in 3D spray-paint concepts to highlight their single “Greatest Love Story.” As the song continues to climb up the Country radio charts, the new mural incorporates its honest lyrics and replicates Paris’ infamous Love Lock Bridge where lovers attach locks to symbolize their unbreakable romance. Nashville visitors can chalk-in their own names on the mural’s locks through October. To follow fans interacting on social media, search #GreatestLoveStory or #GLSNashville.
“We’ve been playing around the Country and have heard from so many fans how ‘Greatest Love Story’ translates to their own personal experiences in so many different walks of life,” said lead singer Brandon Lancaster. “We approached NERS with this idea to not only have a mural, but an interactive mural where people can leave a piece of their own ‘story’ and really share a moment with someone. And what better place to do this than in our hometown.”
“Greatest Love Story” was penned solely by LANCO lead singer Brandon Lancaster, as the “mid-tempo storytelling song” puts “his emotions on his sleeve” (Taste of Country). With over 12 million streams, “Greatest Love Story” leads LANCO’s forthcoming debut album produced by Jay Joyce (Eric Church, Cage The Elephant, Little Big Town). Named as “the band to watch” by Bobby Bones, CMT, Rolling Stone, Spotify and more, LANCO gained their “exuberant concert persona” (Billboard) status from touring the country’s top festivals along with securing opening slot for Dierks Bentley, Brothers Osborne and Jake Owen. LANCO will bring their electric live show to diverse audiences this week, with multiple CMA Music Fest performances (6/8) before taking the stage at the all-genre Bonnaroo Music + Arts Festival (6/9).
