Breakout Band Played Bonnaroo Yetserday (6/9) For Their Debut Performance At the All Genre Festival
NASHVILLE, TN – As breakout band LANCO captured the attention of a packed crowd during the first day of Nashville’s CMA Music Festival, there were two couples waiting for a special song at the Walk of Fame Stage. As lead singer Brandon Lancaster went to wrap the show with the signature acoustic intro to their new single “Greatest Love Story,” his guitar went out forcing him to joke with the crowd and stall during the technical difficulties. Little did he know, there were two men sharing his anxiety as they all waited for the sound and eventual key lyric “get down on one knee.” After a few eternal minutes, the guitar was patched through the sound board, and both men dropped to one knee with marriage proposals and the crowd erupted into applause. Afterward, LANCO invited the happy couples backstage where they shared their personal “Greatest Love Story.”

“Greatest Love Story” was penned solely by Lancaster, as the “mid-tempo storytelling song” puts “his emotions on his sleeve” (Taste of Country). With over 12 million streams, “Greatest Love Story” leads LANCO’s forthcoming debut album produced by Jay Joyce (Eric Church, Cage The Elephant, Little Big Town). Named as “the band to watch” by Bobby Bones,CMT, Rolling Stone, Spotify and more, LANCO gained their “exuberant concert persona” (Billboard) status from touring the country in 2016. They brought their electric live show to Bonnaroo Music + Arts Festival yesterday (6/9). For more information on LANCO and upcoming tour dates, visit LANCOMusic.com.
