NASHVILLE, TN – LAUREN JENKINS is lighting up 2019. Thursday night, she premiered her short film Running Out of Road during the closing weekend of the Sundance Film Festival, while sitting in for a buzzed-about acoustic showcase at the Sundance Mountain Resort’s popular Owl Bar. Her smoky vocals and gritty true-to-life lyrics having already mesmerized outlets such as The New York Times, Billboard and Rolling Stone, the Bobby Bones Class of 2019 member will make her national TV debut on NBC’s TODAY this Thursday (2/7) as Elvis Duran’s Artist of the Month pick.
In anticipation of her debut album No Saint, out March 15 via Big Machine Records, American Songwriter dubbed the collection as “one of 2019’s more anticipated releases in the borderless world of country music.” Jenkins has previewed the project with first look videos for “Running Out Of Road,” “No Saint” and “Maker’s Mark and You.” The cinematic teases sample the full concept of her forthcoming short film of the same name that sets her music and passion for storytelling against the backdrop of the American West.
