Nashville, TN – Rising country star Levi Hummon is the latest artist to be featured in Spotify’s “First Verse” series. In the exclusive video, Hummon shares a glimpse of his life growing up in Nashville and how that experience shaped his music. Since the release of his new song “Night Lights” earlier this year, the track has received over 1 million streams and has been added to multiple playlists including “New Music Nashville,” “Hot Country,” “New Boots,” and “Wild Country.” View the “First Verse” video on Spotify’s “Hot Country” playlist here.
“As an independent artist, Spotify has been such an amazing partner for me,” says Levi. “It truly has given me the freedom to bridge between me and my fans. I’m so thankful to be part of the “First Verse” program and grateful that they took the time to help me tell my story about growing up in Nashville and my family.”
Last week, Hummon performed multiple times during CMA Fest. Check out a recap clip here. He also performed a very special set at Spotify House. To round out the summer Hummon will share the stage with Keith Urban, Tim McGraw and Lady Antebellum. Tour dates and tickets are available at www.levihummon.com
Levi Hummon made his imprint on the Nashville community long before he realized the extent of his craft. Born and raised in Music City, Hummon was surrounded by music greats. A product of his environment, he was named one of Entertainment Weekly’s 5 Artists Breaking Now and Rolling Stone Country’s ‘One to Watch.’ According to Taste of Country Hummon’s latest EP, Patient, “proves his singer-songwriter mark will be distinct” and CMT praises that the songs feature “lyrical content chock full of vulnerability and heart.”
