Special Event Will Put Crew Back to Work
and Will Benefit Crew Nation and Other Organizations
Nashville, TN – Just in time for Valentine’s Day, accomplished triple threat musician, vocalist, and songwriter Lindsay Ell will be performing songs from her critically-acclaimed sophomore album heart theory for the first time ever in a #LiveRedesigned concert experience on Friday, Feb. 12, 2021. The show will be a charity event, with all net proceeds donated to Crew Nation and other beneficiary organizations soon to be announced. Lindsay’s band and onsite crew will be paid, but all companies involved will be donating their time and equipment, while artist, creatives and management will be donating their time and services.
Ell will deliver the performance via a live, elevated streaming experience architected by Fireplay, explained on @nick_fireplay’s Instagram post here, and supported by VYE and PRG. The show will not only allow Ell to bring heart theory to life for the first time since the album’s release, but it will also put a large number of live entertainment crew members back to work. Special guests performing with Ell are soon to be announced. Tickets, which will be based on a pay-what-you-can model, are on sale now and available here. The stream will remain live for 48 hours after the premiere event.
“To say that I’m excited to finally be able to play heart theory live for fans around the world is an understatement,” says Ell. “I am so grateful to Fireplay, PRG, and VYE for bringing this to life. More importantly, I’m humbled to be able to put my band and this incredible crew back to work and to raise money for some organizations who continue to work tirelessly to support the behind-the-scenes workers who have been so gravely affected by the pandemic. I hope this is a night of celebration and healing for so many. Cannot wait for music fans from around the world to join the show!”
The heart theory performance won’t be a typical livestream, however. The production quality of the show will rival the incredible arena shows Fireplay is famed for creating, with a few never-before seen tricks, featuring Ell backed by a full band in a cinematic concert performance that audience members can enjoy and interact with using Virtual Crowd technology from the safety and comfort of their home.
This event comes on the heels of a successful 2020 launch of this album. heart theory debuted inside the Top 10 of Billboard’s Top Country Albums and Top 5 on the UK Country Album Chart. The 12-track concept album explores the seven stages of grief and garnered critical acclaim, with American Songwriter hailing it a “masterpiece of an album” and Rolling Stone calling it Ell’s “most empowering album to date.” Billboard praised that Ell “turns her heartache into art with a uniformly strong pop-country set” and that the record “demands to be listened to as a whole from start to finish to appreciate fully the journey Ell is taking us heart theory has already on.”
Durinig streek-week, Ell appeared on NBC’S TODAY with a stunning performance of her current single “wAnt me back” from Nashville’s storied Ryman Auditorium. The track was #1 most-added at Country radio in its debut week and continues to climb.
