Live In The Vineyard Goes Country attendees will be treated to a very special acoustic performance at the Opening Reception on Tuesday, May 15th by SONY Nashville artists Old Dominion and Mitchell Tenpenny. Proving that they are not your average country band, Old Dominion blends old- fashioned country charm, lyrical wit and rock n roll grit into radio-friendly, hook-heavy pop nuggets. The band has emerged as one of the hottest breaking bands in country music, fusing clever lyrics and an infectious sound. Old Dominion recently released their highly anticipated sophomore album, Happy Endings, which debuted at #1 on the Billboard Top Country Albums Chart and #7 on the Top 200. The band’s current single “No Such Thing As A Broken Heart” also hit #1 on Country Mediabase Chart. Old Dominion released their first full length album Meat and Candy, which was certified GOLD by the RIAA and hailed a “stellar debut” by Entertainment Weekly and declared “one of the hottest breaking bands in county music,” by Vice. The group already has several top selling singles under their belts, including the two-week No.1 “Break Up With Him” (PLATINUM), “Snapback” (GOLD) and “Song For Another Time,” which hit No. 1 the on Billboard Country Airplay and MediaBase charts. In 2016, the band was notably named ACM New Group of the Year, ACCA Breakthrough Group of the Year, AIMP Songwriter Artist of the Year and Music Row Breakthrough Artist of the Year. Old Dominion consists of lead singer Matthew Ramsey, lead guitarist Brad Tursi, multi-instrumentalist Trevor Rosen, bassist Geoff Sprung and drummer Whit Sellers. Mitchell Tenpenny is an industry insider/outlier. Someone who has a local’s appreciation for the origins of Nashville and keen focus on what happens outside of Music City. The rugged individualist operates with complete confidence and comfort in the space between contradictory themes. He is a creative thinker with a keen business sense. He is fiercely competitive, but is equally vocal proponent for his industry colleagues. He finds inspiration in music as diverse as Michael Jackson and the Oak Ridge Boys. And none of that seems the least bit unusual or out of whack to the Nashville native with an industry pedigree (his grandmother was industry legend Donna Hilley who shaped the musical landscape of country music as CEO of Sony/ATV Music Publishing). He lives his life and his budding musical career on both ends of the spectrum. It’s authentic thanks in large part to Tenpenny’s fearless skill as a songwriter, which includes a Top 5 hit for Granger Smith, “If the Boot Fits,” and time spent opening for a variety of influential artists including Smith, Jake Owen, Brett Young, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Dustin Lynch, Gary Allan, Jon Langston, and others. Multiplicity is also reflected in his sound. Tenpenny’s diverse musical taste and soulful vocal delivery were developed after years of singing harmonies in church and later honed pounding drums and scolding the mic as the “lead screamer” in angsty high-school, hard-core rock bands

On Wednesday, May 16th Live In The Vineyard Goes Country attendees will enjoy a Nashville style in-the-round guitar pull featuring Maddie & Tae, Jerrod Niemann, Eric Paslay and Cale Dodds. Maddie & Tae boldly introduced their debut single “Girl In A Country Song” shortly after signing with Dot Records. Featured on their debut album START HERE, of which they penned each of the eleven tracks, the PLATINUM-certified breakout hit soared atop the Country radio charts and made them only the third female duo to peak their debut single at #1 in the history of the Billboard Country singles chart. The gender-flipping video garnered over 38 million views and scored the duo their first-ever award: CMA Video of the Year. The pair, from Texas and Oklahoma, respectively, also swept the 2016 Radio Disney Music Awards, winning both Favorite Country Artist and Favorite Country Song for GOLD-certified “Fly.” They have previously been nominated for ACM, CMT and CMA Awards. Receiving critical acclaim from NPR, Entertainment Weekly, The Washington Post and Glamour, among others. Maddie & Tae have appeared on the Late Show with David Letterman, TODAY, The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Live! with Kelly and Michael and most recently on The Talk, where they performed a cleverly written tune about dealing with bullies called “Sierra.” Sharing their songs with fans on the road, Maddie & Tae conquered their first headlining START HERE TOUR last fall before joining Lee Brice’s LIFE OFF MY YEARS TOUR and most recently wrapping dates with Brad Paisley’s LIFE AMPLIFIED WORLD TOUR. The vibrant talents have also partnered with Bloomingdale’s on a Special Capsule Collection for Fall 2016 that embodies their youthful sense of adventure and unyielding girl power spirit. AQUA x Maddie & Tae is peppered with an eclectic mix of textures, colors, and silhouettes; the full assortment is available now in all Bloomingdale’s stores and bloomingdales.com with retail prices ranging from $38.00 to $498.00. Maddie & Tae embarked on a Bloomingdale’s “tour” in Chicago, New York City and Chestnut Hill where they gave fashion presentations and in-store acoustic performances. Fueled by a nearly decade-long career, prolific Nashville hitmaker Jerrod Niemann has dug deeper that ever before with THIS RIDE – his first album for Curb Records which includes his current smash “I Got This,” the uplifting duet “A Little More Love” (with Lee Brice) and his romantic follow-up single “God Made A Woman.” Known for clever wordplay and attention-grabbing lyrics, the highly engaging singer-songwriter last topped Country charts with his PLATINUM-certified anthem “Drink to That All Night,” a multi week #1 from the 2014 album HIGH NOON – on which he co-wrote eight of the 12 tracks. Niemann first burst onto the scene in 2010 with his critically-acclaimed major-label debut, JUDGE JERROD & THE HUNG JURY, which skyrocketed on the strength of his PLATINUM-certified #1 smash “Lover, Lover” and GOLD-certified Top 5 “What Do You Want.” His second release, FREE THE MUSIC, included Top 15 “Shinin’ On Me” and poignant ballad “Only God Could Love You More.” From Academy of Country Music, Country Music Association, and CMT Award nominations, to headlining and touring with some of country’s hottest acts – Dierks Bentley, Brad Paisley, and Keith Urban – Niemann continues to make his mark by creatively pushing boundaries all while offering a sincere nod to the legends before him. EMI Records Nashville breakout country artist, Eric Paslay, delivers a powerful punch as a renowned, Platinum-selling, hit songwriter and dynamic performer. Paslay has celebrated five No. 1 hits including “Even If It Breaks Your Heart” (Eli Young Band), “Barefoot Blue Jean Night” (Jake Owen), “Angel Eyes” (Love & Theft), “Rewind” (Rascal Flatts) and “Friday Night,” the smash lead single from his critically acclaimed self-titled debut album. The Temple, Texas native has earned numerous songwriter award nominations including GRAMMY’s Best Country Song, ACM’s Song of the Year twice and the CMA Song of The Year for “Even If It Breaks Your Heart.” Eric was also honored with GRAMMY nomination as an artist in 2016 for Best Country Duo/Group Performance for “The Driver”- a collaboration with friends Charles Kelley and Dierks Bentley. A true artist’s artist, USA Today calls Paslay “flat out-brilliant” and American Songwriter names him an influencer of country music.Warner Bros. / Warner Music Nashville recording artist Cale Dodds debut single, aptly retitled “Take You Back (To Basics)” already amassing over 1.5 million streams on Spotify alone. The single, penned alongside Zach Abend and Corey Crowder, showcases his wordsmith abilities. The CMT #18 for2018 artist has been chronicling his adventures on Instagram as well as his “Cale Cam” YouTube series. The rising country artist will make his next stop in Las Vegas for ACM’s Party for a Cause this April.Dubbed a “New Country Artist You Need To Know” by Rolling Stone, Dodds rose to prominence with viral hits like “Lying” and “All Over,” which he recently released as special “double singles” alongside new tunes “Out of My System” and “Like We Do.” Fans and critics alike are taking note with platforms like Amazon Music Unlimited and Google Play including him on their “Best Country Songs of 2017” and “2018 Country Artists to Watch” playlists, respectively.

That evening, superstar Carrie Underwood will headline the main event at the Blue Note Napa.   The all-star Wednesday night line-up will also feature Hunter Hayes, Parmalee and Ashley McBryde. Carrie Underwood emerged from the promise of her 2005 American Idol win to become a true multi-format, multi-media superstar, spanning achievements in music, television, and film. A seven-time GRAMMY® Award winner and 13-time ACM Award winner, she has sold 64 million records worldwide and recorded 26 #1 singles, 13 of which she co-wrote.  She is currently working on her sixth studio album, which will be released on Capitol Records Nashville. She recently premiered her new single, “Cry Pretty,” which she will perform live on television for the first time on the 53rd Academy of Country Music Awards telecast on April 15, where she is also nominated for the 13th time as Female Vocalist of the Year, in addition to a Vocal Event of the Year nomination for “The Fighter” with Keith Urban.  Hailed as a “force to be reckoned with” by the Huffington Post, multiple-award-winner Hunter Hayes is a singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist who roared onto the music scene with his 2x multi-platinum, No. 1 self-titled debut album and chart-topping sophomore album, Storyline, via Atlantic Records / Warner Music Nashville. With three No. 1 singles under his belt (the 5x multi-platinum smash “Wanted,” double-platinum “I Want Crazy” and platinum-selling “Somebody’s Heartbreak”), Hayes continues to surprise fans with new releases such as “Rescue,” which inspired his NSA school renovation and his latest, “You Should Be Loved.” In addition to his GRAMMY nominations, the multi-instrumentalist has tallied over 40 award nominations and wins including the People’s Choice Award for Favorite Male Country Artist in 2015 and the CMA Awards’ coveted New Artist of The Year trophy in 2012.   2016 ACM “New Vocal Duo/ Group of the Year” nominee Parmalee is one of country music’s most successful new acts: The Platinum-selling band of brothers is one of only four groups since 2001 to earn three consecutive Top 10 singles from a debut country album. Since its debut at Country radio, Parmalee has earned over 358 million Pandora streams, 88.75 million plays on Spotify, over 31 million YouTube/ VEVO views, and 1.6 million Shazam subscribers. Heralded as “Country Music’s Breakout Stars” by MSN Entertainment, Parmalee has supported Brad Paisley and Jake Owen on national tours while finding time to perform on NBC’s TODAY show, The Late Late Show, FOX & Friends All American Summer Concert SeriesMLB Central’s Studio 21, The Queen Latifah Show and more. Parmalee – comprised of brothers Matt and Scott Thomas (lead vocals/guitar and drums, respectively), cousin Barry Knox (bass) and life-long best friend Josh McSwain (guitar) – will bring the party to Country. Lauded by The New York Times for her “clean, powerful and slightly creamy voice,” Ashley McBryde caught the attention of some of Nashville’s most raucous entertainers, landing her dates opening for Eric Church, Chris Stapleton, and, most recently, Miranda Lambert and Luke Combs. The Washington Post raves, “McBryde’s blue-collar storytelling and straightforward singing set her apart,” including a set during her debut on the Grand Ole Opry stage, notably sharing “Girl Goin’ Nowhere,” the seminal title track from her March 30, 2018 Jay Joyce-produced LP for Atlantic Records/Warner Nashville. McBryde was the most added new artist and most added female with her debut single “A Little Dive Bar in Dahlonega.” The track hit No. 1 on SiriusXM’s The Highway Top 30 in 2017 and is currently Top 35 and climbing at Country radio. radio this summer with their new single “Hotdamalama” from its sophomore album 27861.

To round out Live In The Vineyard Goes Country there will be a send off brunch on Thursday, May 17th with acoustic performances by Maggie Rose and Lindsay Ell. Exceptionally versatile singer and songwriter Maggie Rose will release three additional Digital 45s this summer, leading up to a planned album this fall (TBD). All co-produced by Maggie and stamped with her affinity for finely-crafted melodies and intricate storytelling, her latest and forthcoming releases encompass what she’s been preparing for her entire career, music she’s held inside herself and now fully able to lay down. In March, Maggie released “It’s You” and “Smooth.” Rolling Stone Country calls “It’s You” “a giant, throwback soul ballad that shows off her dynamic vocals [and] contains shades of Aretha Franklin,” and “Smooth” “a supremely funky rocker with hints of Grace Potter, Janis Joplin”. These two tracks show the two ends of the spectrum on which the forthcoming LP lives. These new tracks follow her Fall Digital 45 featuring SiriusXM The Highway’s Top 10 hit “Just Getting By” and “Pull You Through,” all recorded during the same season.  Tapping into a soulful country side in the vein of Linda Ronstadt and Adele,  “Just Getting By” and “Pull You Through” encompass the lifetime of a relationship. “Just Getting By,” which Maggie — a newlywed — wrote in the wake an argument with her husband, shows a couple wrestling to establish a unified identity. “Pull You Through”, a soulful ballad, while she was engaged, imagining years into her future — and the implication of the phrase “’til death do us part.”Last year, CMT named Maggie one of its Next Women of Country, and this year she has toured with Martina McBride and opened dates on Tim McGraw and Faith Hill’s Soul2Soul tour. Taken with recent releases ‘Dreams > Dollars’ and ‘The Variety Show Vol. 1,’ her forthcoming five-part release reveal a singer crafting a sound as varied and nuanced as her musical interests. Named one of The Huffington Post’s “Top Country Artists to Watch,” Lindsay Ell is a triple threat:  accomplished musician, unique vocalist and songwriter. The Calgary native learned to play guitar while traveling with her father to country-bluegrass camps as a young girl. Ell honed her craft as a musical stylist and songwriter after being discovered by BTO and The Guess Who’s Randy Bachman (“American Woman” / “Taking Care of Business”) who discovered her at the age of 13.  The multi-instrumentalist was soon touring alongside the likes of Luke Bryan, Buddy Guy, The Band Perry and Keith Urban, as well as wowing audiences as Carrie Underwood’s guitar player live on the “50th Annual CMA Awards” and holding her own alongside icon Melissa Etheridge on Skyville Live. A 2016 CMT Music Award and multiple Canadian Country Music Award nominee, Ell exhilarated audiences from coast-to-coast as part of the 2016 CMT Next Women of Country Tour, Brad Paisley’s 2017 and 2018 WEEKEND WARRIOR WORLD TOUR, and will join Sugarland’s Still The Same Tour for Summer 2018. Ell’s first full-length album The Project debuted at No. 1 on the Country Album Sales Chart in August and was lauded as Billboard’s ‘Best Country Album of 2017.’ Her current single “Criminal” was the Most Added song at Country radio on its impact date and is currently Top 20 bound and fast-rising.

Also set to perform at a VIP event will be Cash Campbell. A “true representation of current country for the next generation” (CMT) newcomer Cash Campbell is bursting onto the music scene with his debut song “Cannonball.” With its lush sonic palate – glittering, guttural and ethereal – it’s no wonder that fans around the globe are already captivated by Campbell as he continues to rack up over fifteen million streams on multiple platforms. After growing up singing in small-town Texas choir and spearheading several different rock-focused bands over the years, Campbell’s Lone Star roots continued to run deep and he channeled all of his influences into his songwriting. Campbell teamed up with Peer Astrom, the Swedish composer partly responsible for Glee‘s soundtrack and musician Chris LaCorte. Together they honed in on a sound that handpicks the best of their hometowns – Dallas, Nashville and Stockholm – and spins it into a mix that exists in a lane of its own. Out of the gate, CMT selected Campbell for their Artist Discovery initiative and world premiered the glowing, vibrant video for “Cannonball” in September. His Southern heart and worldly mind are fully evident on new tracks “Don’t Wanna Think About It” and “Little Things.” The three tracks are available now on all digital retailers, with details about new music coming soon.
