Singer-songwriter Lockwood Barr is joined by Holly Auna at Nashville Craft Distillery this Saturday, July 11 at 6:30 PM. The show is a part of the distillery’s Safe Summer Songs Acoustic Drive-In Series.
Cheley Tackett, who has spent the last year touring with Ashley McBryde and Brandy Clark, asked Lockwood to join the concert series to start bringing live music back to Nashville. Lockwood couldn’t be more thrilled to play for a real crowd again. “I don’t think I’ve ever been so excited to get on stage,” Lockwood said. “Don’t get me wrong, live streaming has been a gift, but nothing can replace real life humans.”
Nashville Craft will be selling their bourbon whiskey, in addition to their original hand sanitizer that they created for the pandemic. This show is an opportunity for music fans to get their fix while also supporting a local business.
“Holly Auna, besides being one of my oldest friends in Nashville, is a fierce performer and wonderful songwriter,” Lockwood said. “It’s safe to say this drive-in show is going to be the start of something new for my touring, wink wink!”
Fans are encouraged to purchase tickets ahead of time online for $10 to help the venue plan for parking.
