NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Lucas Hoge’s second single off his No. 1 album Dirty South pays tribute to iconic entertainer Garth Brooks in “Power of Garth.” The lyric video for the nostalgic single exclusively premiered on TasteofCountry.com as the single goes for adds to country radio today!
“I have been really looking forward to getting this song out to radio, its been great seeing the reactions of the people that relate to it,” said Hoge. “Music is supposed to make you feel all kinds of emotions and hopefully transport you back into those moments in time that you felt a certain way and I hope this song does just that for everyone who’s hears it, cause it does that for me every time I get to sing it.”
Most recently, Southwest Airlines announced Hoge as one of their Storyteller Brand Ambassadors. Over the next year, Hoge will be part of a curated group of 12 #SouthwestStorytellers who will promote the brand on their social channels. Hoge is also one of three Cabela’s Music Ambassadors, alongside Luke Bryan and Justin Moore.
The Nebraska native continues to tour in support of his his No. 1 album Dirty South. Hoge had a career defining year in 2017, with his album ascending to the No. 1 spot on Billboard Country Album Sales Chart the week of release and making his Grand Ole Opry debut on the Ryman stage.
