NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Critically-acclaimed artist Lucie Silvas’ world premiere of the new music video for her empowering track “Kite” is debuting exclusively at People.com today. Directed by her guitar player Jarrad Kritzstein, the video is a dark portrayal of a man trying to control a woman, depicted as a robot, who eventually breaks free. Fans can watch the new music video (HERE). “Kite” is from Silvas’ highly-anticipated album E.G.O.(Thirty Tigers), set for release on August 24th. Pre-order is available (HERE).
Rolling Stone Country unveiled new song “Everything Looks Beautiful” as a Top 10 Song Of The Week on Friday (HERE). “Everything Looks Beautiful” is a song about celebrating the possibility of achieving anything when you are in love and was co-written by Silvas, Natalie Hemby and Gabe Simon. “Everything Looks Beautiful” is now available on iTunes and across digital retailers (HERE). Of the song, Silvas said, “It’s what love looks like in my head and when you feel so crazy in love with someone; everything is brilliant, bright and wonderful. When I fall, I fall hard – and I did. It felt so good to write a song like this.”
Silvas will also join Cam’s Road To Happiness Tour, bringing her “rafter-shattering vocals and genre-defying musical landscapes…” (Rolling Stone Country) to venues nationwide this fall. Silvas’ live shows have captured the attention of fans and press including the Arizona Republicas they recalled, “…a star-making set that showcased her powerful vocal range…” and Paste shared a preview of live performances of songs from her forthcoming album E.G.O. (HERE). The tour is set to kick off at the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville on Sept. 26th and will make stops at theatres and clubs in major cities including; Atlanta, GA, Washington, DC, Boston, MA and Houston, TX, before concluding in Denver, CO. E.G.O., Silvas forthcoming album, reflects an evolutionary sweet spot for the rising artist who refreshed her career after leaving a U.K. label deal to immerse herself in the songwriting and musician community that was calling her in Music City. Quickly, she amassed overwhelming support from the music industry and artist community, and Billboard shared an in-depth story about the welcomed support rallying behind her (HERE). On the way to discovering her own path, she wrote about the challenges and triumphs that led to finding her place in a world where so many people are reaching for success, fame and fortune.
Hailed for her “gutsy, smoldering vocals…razor-sharp lyrics and sparkling melodies” (Rolling Stone), independent artist Silvas has earned critical-acclaim both internationally and stateside. The British-born, Nashville-based singer/songwriter makes “…a triumphant return with her fourth album, E.G.O.” (Billboard), the follow up to her previous Letters To Ghosts, which the Associated Press called ‘…one of the most underrated albums of the year” and earned her coveted touring slots with Chris Stapleton, Little Big Town and Miranda Lambert. Silvas has been featured in American Songwriter, Paste, Nashville Scene, Rolling Stone Country and selected as an “Artist To Watch” by SPIN, Spotify, and CMT. A Platinum-selling artist in the U.K., Silvas’ genre-defying talent as a Pianist and vocalist has led to performances with legendary artists including Tom Jones, Lionel Richie, Elton John, James Bay and Skrillex.
