Through the Southwest: Artist On The Rise To Luck platform, Southwest supports up-and-coming talent to help them reach new heights in their careers. Past artists who have been selected by this program include Arcy Drive, Ida Mae, Katie Pruitt and Thomas Csorba. With Southwest: Artist On The Rise To Luck, fans have the opportunity to vote for their favorite artist to perform on the main stage at Luck Reunion. In 2023, Luck Reunion, in collaboration with Overdrive Energy Solutions, Reverb.org and A Sound Future set a new standard for sustainability in live events by launching the largest 100% sustainably powered stage ever at a US festival. Through the use of Ovedrive’s innovative battery energy storage systems and an on-site solar farm, diesel fuel usage was slashed by 95%. In 2024, Overdrive and Luck Reunion are expanding their green initiatives to encompass food, beverage, and catering services, again leveraging Overdrive’s innovative modular battery systems.
Additionally this year, 1 Million Strong, an impact initiative uniting the music industry, artists, and fans to create sober-inclusive spaces and ensure no fan is left outside the gates, has partnered with Luck Reunion festival to co-create a mocktail experience and sober supportive environment for attendees of their sold out event on March 14.
1 Million Strong, a partnership created by The Phoenix, Stand Together Music, and Stand Together Foundation, fosters open conversations about wellness and recovery and offers support for those impacted by addiction and their allies through The Phoenix.
The Bread & Roses Community Conversations Stage is back this year and will host three panels featuring musicians, activists, and local family farmers. The moderators will be Ash-Lee Woodard Henderson and Je Naé Taylor from Highlander Research and Education Center, and Shorlette Ammons from Farm Aid. The stage programming aims to promote intentional learning and community engagement by facilitating cultural exchanges across various industries and alongside fans.
Luck Presents is also pleased to announce its lineup for this year’s Potluck on Wednesday, March 13.
