Country superstar Luke Bryan just unveiled another new song from his highly anticipated album, What Makes You Country. The new track, “Hooked On It,” pays tribute to the platinum-selling singer’s deep Georgia roots. The song premiered exclusively on USA Today, where fans got a first-listen to the upbeat sing-along. Fans can pre-order the upcoming project now, where they will be able to instantly receive “Hooked On It,” along with three other songs from What Makes You Country, available Dec. 8.
“Light It Up,” the lead single of What Makes You Country, is already sitting at No. 7 on the Mediabase Country Chart and has nearly 15 million Spotify streams. The hitmaker’s performance of the electrifying song at the 51st Annual CMA Awards was met with high praise from country enthusiasts, storming its way to the upper-tier of the iTunes All-Genre Chart.
The must-have album is set to close out an already monumental year for the superstar. The “Entertainer of the Year” winner sold out shows throughout North America during his “Huntin’, Fishin and Lovin’ Everyday” arena tour, while also hitting No. 1 with his nostalgic single “Fast.” Bryan also made history by becoming the first artist in Billboard’s Country Aircheck history to have six singles from an album reach No. 1.
