Luke kicked off Crash My Playa last Wednesday introducing the first performance of the Mexico event with Maggie Rose followed by Brett Young with Sam Hunt closing out night one. Day two included back to back Pool Party performances with Maren Morris and Sam Hunt. On the main stage that night was Adam Craig, Dustin Lynch and Luke and then the day closed with Kendell Marvel’s Honky Tonk Experience playing late into the night with special guests. On Friday, Ryan Hurd opened the night’s festivities then sat in during Maren’s performance. The evening closed with Blake’s marathon set which included an hour encore with Luke who dressed as ‘throwback’ Blake of the 90’s. During that finale, Gwen Stefani made a cameo to perform a song with Luke and Blake as her backing band. On the final day, Dustin Lynch performed for the largest Pool Party gathering so far and later DJ Rock warmed up the crowd along with Nashville-natives trio The Cadillac Three before Luke wrapped the weekend with a set list of his hits as well as several covers, including Prince’s “Party Like Its 1999” and “Sweet Caroline.”
The four-night tropical getaway and concert experience was designed and produced by CID Presents as the ultimate all-inclusive Caribbean concert vacation. Guests were not only treated to poolside and nightly beachfront concerts, but were also provided with airport transportation, 24-hour concierge, optional daily activities and off-site adventures such as ATV’s and Zip Lines, Catamaran, Snorkeling, Deep Sea Fishing and more. The event was self-produced by the production arm of CID Entertainment, the premier music travel and fan-focused experiential agency. Having developed and implemented VIP and travel packages for Luke’s tours for years, CID was the perfect partner for Crash My Playa, designing a country music festival where fans could see their favorite artists on stage and enjoy the sun, beach, food and adventures with their friends.
