Nashville, Tenn. – Multi-platinum global breakthrough country star LUKE COMBS continues to heat up the top of the charts today as his GOLD-certified debut album returns to No. 1 on Billboard Country Albums Chart for a career 5th week and lands new chart high at No. 4 on Billboard Top 200 Chart propelled by the release of his deluxe album This One’s For You Too amassing 31 million streams and 55,000 total consumption in first week activity. Released Friday June 1, exactly one year after his critically-acclaimed debut album This One’s For You , Combs’ deluxe project boasts 5 brand new songs and surpasses the staggering first-week sales success of his original version which opened at No. 1 on Billboard Country Albums, No. 5 on Billboard 200 and earned 43,000 total consumption first week. Combs’ groundswell built fan base responded with fervor to new music from the headliner sending all 5 new songs into the Top 10 on iTunes All-Genre Songs Chart upon release and music videos for “Must’ve Never Met You” and “Houston, We Got A Problem” rapidly landing inside the Top 20 on YouTube’s US Trending Chart.
Last week, Combs began his chart reign when he landed his third consecutive No. 1 at Country Radio with his runaway smash hit “One Number Away” – making him the first male artist since Sam Hunt to score three back-to-back No. 1s from a debut album. Standout track “Beautiful Crazy”, released in May from the new batch of deluxe songs, has amassed 19 million audio streams and the video has over 11 million views and counting.
The Asheville, N.C. native celebrated the new songs with fans last week joining Leon Bridges for a CMT Crossroads performance for thousands in downtown Nashville (airing June 28), an intimate fan-club moment at HGTV Lodge, back-to-back shows at the Grand Ole Opry and capped the stellar CMA Fest week with a debut stadium performance at Nissan Stadium where 80,000 fans sing-screamed his chart-topping hits back to him.
Combs has been tapped by Pepsi MidAmerica to lead the Summer 2018 Diet Dr. Pepper campaign and will be featured on more than 2 million cans across the country beginning this week.
