NASHVILLE, TENN. – In celebration of his debut album This One’s For You released this Friday June 2, LUKE COMBS heads to New York City on Monday June 5 to make his national TV debut on NBC’s Today Show with performances during both the 8:00am and 10:00am hours of the show. Combs will perform his newly-certified PLATINUM two-week No. 1 hit single “Hurricane” and also join Kathie Lee and Hoda for a performance of fan-favorite track, “When It Rains It Pours.” Combs recently set Country radio records when “Hurricane” spent two weeks atop both the Billboard Country Airplayand Mediabase charts; rendering the 27 year-old singer/songwriter the first artist to hold a multi-week No. 1 since Florida Georgia Line with “Cruise” and the first solo male artist to accomplish the featin 9 years.
Last week, Combs kicked off his sold-out album release pop-up tour playing a raucous, capacity crowd at Joe’s On Weed in Chicago and continued at The Basement East in Nashville with a final show at the iconic Grey Eagle in Combs’ hometown of Asheville, N.C. on Thursday, June 1, the eve before This One’s For You released. True to form, Combs continues to take new songs to fans first celebrating his new album as a BREAKTHROUGH VIDEO OF THE YEAR nominee at the 2017 CMT Awards (June 7) and performances at Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival (June 8), Carolina Country Music Fest (June 9) and at CMA Music Fest’s HGTV Lodge and Riverfront Stage on (June 11) with more surprise appearances announcing soon.
