NASHVILLE, Tenn. – On the heels of releasing an acoustic version of her song “If You Never Broke My Heart,” starlet Madeline Merlo is treating fans to a video of this more raw, intimate version of the tune – available now to stream on YouTube. Illustrating the upside to heartbreak and the lessons that accompany losing the one you love, “If You Never Broke My Heart” originally released in April (4/24) along with current single “Kiss Kiss” and the song “It Didn’t.” The video was directed by Brian K. Vaughan of Lonely Tree Media and shot at Frankum Farms in Kingston Springs, Tenn.

Earlier in April, Merlo won the season two premiere episode of NBC hit show Songland with her co-penned summer anthem “Champagne Night” – the tune was recorded and released to radio by seven-time GRAMMY® Award-winning group Lady A, and is currently Top 20 on both the Billboard and Media Base charts.

As an artist, Merlo’s cool, coastal sound – a reflection of her Vancouver upbringing – bridges the perfect pop-country gap. After a series of successful single releases in Canada – including debut “Sinking Like A Stone,” “War Paint,” certified gold “Neon Love,” and her most recent Canadian country radio Top 10 “Dear Me” – single “Kiss Kiss” is currently Top 15 on both the Canadian country radio Media Base and Billboard charts, and recently went #2 on the Radio Disney Country chart.
