TO MAKE CMA FEST DEBUT TONIGHT AT NASHVILLE’S NISSAN STADIUM
PERFORMING THE NATIONAL ANTHEM
NEWLY ANNOUNCED AS FLORIDA GEORGIA LINE’S SPECIAL GUEST FOR THEIR LAS VEGAS RESIDENCY
NASHVILLE, TENN. – After being discovered performing a Hank Williams, Sr. classic, “Lovesick Blues,” in an aisle at his local Walmart, 11-year-old internet sensation MASON RAMSEY has released his own dynamic rendition complete with his signature yodel today.
Now available across all major online retailers and streaming networks, listen to the timeless track here.
“Through my grandpop’s vinyl records, Mr. Hank Williams is who introduced me to Country music and taught me why it’s so special,” Ramsey shares. “It’s an honor to be able to release a song that’s changed my whole life.”
Following the massive success of his “moving debut song” (Rolling Stone Country), “Famous,” off his anticipated EP, the Big Loud Records and Atlantic Records artist soared to #1 on the iTunes Country Songs chart and has since sold 250K+ US copies (300K globally). Penned by hitmakers Tyler Hubbard, Corey Crowder (Chris Young, A Thousand Horses), Sarah Buxton (Chris Lane, Keith Urban), and Canaan Smith (Florida Georgia Line, Love & Theft), plus produced by studio aces Joey Moi (Florida Georgia Line, Jake Owen) and Crowder, the lyric music video has since captured the hearts of over 17.5 million fans.
With several major music festival appearances already under his belt, he’ll next perform the national anthem during his first-ever CMA Fest appearance tonight at Nashville’s Nissan Stadium. It was also recently announced that Ramsey will serve as MULTI-PLATINUM superstar duo Florida Georgia Line’s special guest during their five-nights-only residency, FLORIDA GEORGIA LINE LIVE FROM LAS VEGAS, inside Zappos Theater at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino on December 1, 5, 7, 8, and 11.
