Nashville, Tenn., — The exclusive world premiere of country newcomer Matt Stell’s music video for his viral, hit song, “Prayed for You,” has gone live on PEOPLE.com. “We get a lot of requests for Savannah to be in music videos and normally it’s not something I would want her to do, but Matt Stell’s song is a very uplifting song. It gives me hope for these young girls and guys today.” says Todd Chrisley.
Directed by Mike Dearing and produced by Bryan Allen of PopFizz, the video was shot in one day at two different locations in and around Middle Tennessee. Stell explains, “The song is all about the journey to find your one true love and the video really paints a great visual of its meaning. I was super excited to work with Savannah and Nic and they really did an amazing job on the video. I can’t wait for everyone to see it!”
“I fell in love with this song when I heard it,” says Savannah Chrisley. “My generation looks for their person in all the wrong ways. ‘Prayed for You’ is a song that explains how if you focus on the right thing, then the right thing will come along. I wanted to be a part of something that I stood for and that I believed in. Playing the lead role in the music video was more fun and more calm then what I am used to doing. I would take this any day! It was so much fun and everyone was so great to work with.”
“Prayed for You” is Stell’s break-out single, gaining over 1.5 million streams and added twice on Spotify’s “Viral” playlist, as well as the popular “New Boots” country playlist. Managed and produced by Ash Bowers of Wide Open Music, you can find Stell’s music on iTunes HERE or stream it HERE.
