NASHVILLE, TN – Continuing their high-speed momentum, Midland made their Grand Ole Opry debut Saturday night (4/8). Lead singer Mark Wystrach, guitarist Jess Carson and bass player Cameron Duddy performed two back-to-back shows from the legendary circle, giving audiences a healthy dose of their retro-modern sound with debut single “Drinkin’ Problem” and fan-favorite “Burn Out.”
Leading up to the big night, the Texas trio spent the afternoon at local Nashville haunt Bobby’s Idle Hour, sharing their excitement and swapping road stories for an upcoming episode of My Opry Debut. They also treated fans to a behind-the-scenes look at their debut through Opry’s Instagram Live.
Entertainment Weekly featured Midland as one of the “10 Artists Who Will Rule 2017” with music critics and Country radio alike getting behind their Gary Stewart evoking songs. Their top 30-and-climbing single, “Drinking Problem,” marks the fastest rising Big Machine Records debut since the label group’s inception. Midland will open for Tim McGraw and Faith Hill on select dates of the Soul2Soul Tour and also join Kenny Chesney in August. For tour dates and more, visit MidlandOfficial.com.
