Make It Up As We Go released its sixth episode today, which features roles with country superstars Miranda Lambert, Billy Bob Thornton, Craig Robinson and Bobby Bones.
Contributing to the original music pegged to the podcast, this week’s episode features a new track titled “Here’s Lookin At You” by Scarlett Burke. The song was written by J.R. Moore, Scarlett Burke, and Jesse Siebenberg.
Make It Up As We Go peaked at #3 on Apple Podcasts in Music after debut.
The season finale is set for November 19th, with a bundle of original songs to release that day as well.
Make It Up As We Go is co-produced by Audio Up Media and iHeartMedia, and is exclusively presented by Unilever’s Knorr and Magnum brands. This podcast follows the story of an aspiring young songwriter, played by Scarlett Burke, and her pursuits to make a name for herself in the music industry. Encountering a number of characters along the way, including legendary Nashville producer Van Tyler (played by Billy Bob Thornton), and the voice of country radio, Bobby Bones (playing himself). Make It Up As We Go unravels Charlotte’s own personal journey navigating the writer rooms of Nashville, which is where the stories are told, songs are born, and in turn – finding her own voice along the way.
Make It Up As We Go is written by David Hudgins (Friday Night Lights, Parenthood and Game of Silence) and Brooks Hudgins. The podcast’s cast includes Scarlett Burke, Dennis Quaid, Billy Bob Thornton, Craig Robinson, Bre Blair, and Michael Raymond-James.
