WRAPS 2020 WITH THREE GRAMMY NOMINATIONS, RANKS NO. 3
ON BILLBOARD YEAR-END TOP COUNTRY ARTISTS-FEMALE CHART

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Superstar Miranda Lambert will perform during CBS’ “A Home for the Holidays” special airing Sunday (12/20) at 9:30 p.m. ET, presented in association with the Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption and the Children’s Action Network.

The performance wraps a highlight-filled year for Lambert, which saw her hit single “Bluebird” become her seventh No. 1 at country radio, while also extending her run as the most decorated female artist at both the ACM and CMA Awards with wins for Music Event of the Year (“Fooled Around and Fell in Love” with Elle King, Maren Morris, Ashley McBryde, Tenille Townes and Caylee Hammack) and Music Video of the Year (“Bluebird”), respectively, and becoming the most nominated female artist in CMA history. She also co-executive produced “Make It Up As We Go,” a scripted country-musical podcast series following the story of an aspiring young songwriter and her pursuits to make a name for herself in the music industry. Lambert recorded original music for the show’s soundtrack and starred as herself in several episodes.

Lambert also ends 2020 among the most nominated country artists for the 63rd GRAMMY Awards, with nods for Best Country Album (Wildcard), Best Country Solo Performance (“Bluebird”), and Best Country Song (“Bluebird”). “Bluebird” has earned more than 225 million on-demand streams and was named one of the year’s best songs by Taste of CountryThe BootSounds like Nashville, and more after earning the same accolades in 2019 from Rolling Stone and the Nashville Scene. The “poetic, introspective, and hopeful” (MusicRow) smash landed at No. 15 on Billboard’s year-end Hot Country Songs chart, while Lambert ranked No. 3 on the Top Country Artists-Female chart.

Earlier this year Lambert’s hit “Little Red Wagon” was certified RIAA Platinum while “Somethin’ Bad,” her duet with Carrie Underwood, was certified Double Platinum. Meanwhile, her latest single “Settling Down” is nearing Top 30 on the country radio charts leading into what will be another groundbreaking year for the entertainer.
