Other artists also revealed to play include Lauren Alaina, Gary Allan, Big And Rich, Brothers Osborne, Craig Campbell, Dan + Shay, High Valley, Randy Houser, Mo Pitney, Michael Ray, Chase Rice, The Cadillac Three and William Michael Morgan, with more to be announced in the coming weeks. Already established as a must-play festival within the artist community, the weekend gives artists the opportunity to enjoy the city’s fiercely loyal fans, the coveted location and hospitable environment that runs throughout Live Nation’s premiere family of festivals. As well as a stellar lineup, Country LakeShake is enhancing the fringe activities that has fans loyally returning since the festival’s launch in 2015. Country music and sports often go hand in hand and so, the highly popular Blackhawks Bar will return, as well as new offerings including Silent Disco Line Dancing, Wine Lounge, Food Trucks, Kids Zone, Putt-Putt and additional games and activities.
“I’m from Chicago, and hopefully that means I know a bit about what the people of the city want from this festival,” said Brian O’Connell, President of Country Touring at Live Nation. “We’re in our third year now and so it’s a big year for us really becoming an annual event, and I think we have a really great, current lineup of the hottest acts in the genre right now to help us do that. We’re also committed to making Country LakeShake an experience, not just a regular show, and so we’ve ramped up the actitivities onsite so pass holders can fully enjoy the amazing surroundings.”
