Adds More Dates to 2023 Headline Tour
“This Is The Heavy Tour”
Nashville, Tenn. –– Riser House/Columbia Nashville/Sony Music Nashville artist Mitchell Tenpenny performed on the Grand Ole Opry last week as part of the release of his new album, This Is The Heavy. That appearance is set to air this Saturday, October 1 on “Opry Live” on the Circle Network, the Opry’s television broadcast home, as well as Circle All Access Facebook, Twitter and YouTube. Priscilla Block, Steven Curtis Chapman, and Little Big Town also appear.
Mitchell’s Opry performance includes his three #1 singles- “Truth About You,” “At The End Of A Bar” and a special acoustic version of “Drunk Me.” He made history earlier this month with the shortest time between #1 songs in the modern chart era with just a three-week span between “Truth About You” and “At The End Of A Bar.”
“Truth About You” is the first single from his This Is the Heavy album, which is aptly the title of his 2023 headline tour. Due to popular demand, additional dates were added to the “This Is The Heavy Tour” routing. Warner Music Nashville’s Tyler Braden will open. Ticket and VIP packages are available now at mitchell10penny.com. The tour includes back-to-back concerts at the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville on February 3 & 4. Mitchell, a Nashville native, sold-out his first-ever headline concert there in the fall of 2021 and deemed it as ‘a childhood dream come true.”
