Nashville, Tenn. — Just in time for the 4th of July, award-winning country artist Moe Bandy appeared on Huckabee (TBN) this past Saturday night (6/30) where he performed his classic red, white and blue-drenched hit song, “Americana.”
The song is what helped to ignite Bandy’s friendship with the Bush family over 30 years ago. His relationship with President George H. W. Bush and the late First Lady Barbara Bush is described in detail in Bandy’s new autobiography, Lucky Me. The former first lady penned the book’s foreword.
Bandy’s Huckabee appearance was special as it was taped in Branson, MO, the place he calls home and where the country legend spent many years performing up to seven nights a week for fans visiting from around the world.
