With the current success of this single alongside the release of an empowerment lyric video which featured her fans taking the spotlight, Molly was wanting this music video to capture the essence of the unrestrained One Woman Show perfectly. Produced by Lauren Hayes Media, “the song is about being your own person and being independent, so I wanted to translate that over to the music video, too,” says Molly.
After securing industry feedback including “Molly is a true songwriter who takes her experiences and crafts them into a song,” as well as “artists rarely catch me on the first shot. It took all of two seconds to realize Molly wasn’t just good, but great,” it is safe to say that she is taking the world by storm and winning the hearts of not only journalists but country listeners everywhere.
“This video shoot was so special because we filmed it in my high school’s theater. I spent most of my high school years performing on that stage, so it was kind of a full circle moment.” Drawing from the lyric video which included her fans, Molly got some help from her friends and family for this video. “I wanted to incorporate them into the video as much as possible. You can see my sister on the keys, one of my best friends on the bass, and so many of my friends and family members watching me on the stage.”
One Woman Show is available on Spotify, Apple Music, and all other digital retailers. For more information on Molly Lovette, visit her website and follow along with her on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter.
