Visual Premieres Exclusively with American Songwriter
NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Singer-songwriter and vocal powerhouse Morgan Myles released the acoustic video for her song “Therapy” today. The visual premiered exclusively with American Songwriter yesterday (8/4), who praised her unique ability to “blend soul-pop and soft rock” and called the track, which released digitally Friday (7/31), “stunning.” “Therapy” precedes five other acoustic releases – all from her previously released, debut album of the same title – including “Mad at Myself,” “Up To You,” “Sanctuary,” “Silence,” and “…bonafide empowerment anthem…” (The Boot) “Empire.” Therapy, which released in January, was recorded at East Iris Recording Studios, produced and mixed by UMG producer/engineer Jake Butler, mastered by Kevin Reeves (Dwight Yoakam, Judy Garland, George Harrison) and features guitarist Scott Reeves.

“I wrote ‘Therapy’ about my parent’s relationship because it has weathered so many trials and tribulations for over four decades now, it is the kind of love that cannot be shaken and it’s something I hope to find…” Myles told American Songwriter. “I know I will never settle for anything less than what they have together.”
Myles released her debut album Therapy earlier this year after a series of successful releases, including “Acapella,” “Knew Love,” and “…soul-soaked ballad…” (Taste of Country) “Whiskey Dreaming.” The nine-track album earned praise from the press, with Billboard musing “Myles proves her staying power on impressive debut, Therapy” and Rolling Stone Country stating, “The woman has got some serious pipes.”
