Released Alongside Lyric Video,
the Cross Genre Collaboration Is Available Now
LOS ANGELES — Today, Triple Tigers Records’ multi-platinum recording artist Russell Dickerson and singer-songwriter Jake Scott released their brand new collaboration titled, “She Likes It”. Released everywhere alongside an accompanying lyric video, the boppy new track showcases the combined talents of the two powerhouse vocalists. Dickerson, who’s #1 single “Yours” went triple platinum this past summer, and Scott, who just released his first official project, “Goldenboy”, in June, penned and recorded the track together while in Nashville, TN.
“I heard Jake’s music and I was like we GOTTA work together!” said Dickerson ahead of the single release. Adding, “She Likes It was the second song we wrote together, and as soon as we finished it, we looked at each other and said, ‘Yeah, we’re putting this out together!’ It’s a jam!”
With crooning vocals and a crawling baseline, “She Likes It” is a swaggering song with a hint of seduction. “She likes it when I pour tequila ‘cause she knows that we about to have ourselves a little night,” the two sing, languidly listing off what “she” likes, and trailing off with playful suggestions.
“She likes it is about falling more and more in love with someone the longer you’re with them,” said Scott. “It’s about keeping the fire burning— not because you have to, but because you want to. It’s about keeping things spicy.”
