Nashville – MV2 Entertainment has signed Thomas Archer to their roster of accomplished songwriters. The publishing company now includes Bart Allmand, Robert Arthur, Nora Collins, David Fanning, and Terry McBride.
“We are excited to have Thomas here at MV2. He is a great writer at the beginning of a great career!” said General Manager Tony Harrell.
Archer moved to Nashville immediately after his college graduation in 2012 with a degree in accounting. The abrupt decision came as a surprise to his family but the Georgia native quickly went to work writing songs and playing shows all throughout the southeast with a band he formed in school. He has enjoyed several independent artist cuts, including two songs that landed on SiriusXM’s The Highway: “Baby Wassup feat. Bubba Sparxx” by Ricky Young and “Night With Your Name On It” by Outshyne. In February 2014, Thomas signed his first publishing deal with BMG where he would have several cuts by Jordan Rager, Colt Ford, Walker Hayes and many others.
Thomas currently has Luke Combs’ debut single “Hurricane” on Billboard’s Hot Country Top 40 as well as on the Top 30 on SiriusXM’s The Highway.
MV2 (Mission, Vision, Values) was formed by industry veterans Clay Myers and Tony Harrell along with James Archer and the executive team of Blake Gage and Harold Johnson. The company’s focus is innovative solutions in the ever-changing landscape of the music industry.
