NASCAR, USAC & VRA Series Driver Tyler Williams Premieres Country EP ‘Good For Me’ Today

Tyler Williams, a celebrated race car driver across the NASCAR, VRA and USAC series, debuts his latest country project Good For Me on iTunes and all major online retailers today. Renowned music critic and historian Robert K. Oermann spotlighted the project as Music Row Magazine’s “Discovery Award” this week stating: ” This guy is a champion NASCAR driver who sings in a solid, confident way about weathering a failed relationship. The swirling track supports him at every turn. Williams is also a motivational speaker and the author of an inspirational-style book titled I Have a Voice.”

The first preview of Tyler’s project was launched at the close of 2017 when The Boot premiered the lyric video for the title track Good For Me. You can view that by clicking here. Since that premiere, outlets like All Access, AXS-TV, Billboard Country Update, Country Music Pride, The Country Note, KTUL-TV (Tulsa), Speed Sport, Tulsa World, WBKO-ABC (Bowling Green, KY), WGGC-FM (Bowling Green, KY), Young Millennial Money and many other have been buzzing about this Georgia native.  Tyler’s 2018 started behind the wheel at the “Superbowl” of racing the Lucas Oil Chili Bowl Nationals where top drivers from NASCAR, USAC midget and sprint cars, NHRA drag racers and IndyCar drivers all compete against each other to capture the legendary championship trophy.

Transitioning from the racing arena to the music community, Tyler kicked off his release week performing on the RFD-TV #MusicMonday series live from The 615 Hideaway.  Throughout the week, he co-hosted Nashville Today on WSM with Devon O’Day and Lexi Carter, performed on WSMV-NBC’s Today in Nashville and recorded segments with numerous radio programs including the industry icons Lorianne Crook and Charlie Chase.  His Crook and Chase Countdown segment will premiere the weekend of February 3 & 4.
