New Jersey Country Duo Williams Honor Takes Multiple Spots on Pollstar’s Livestream Chart and Gets Voted Best Jersey Band

NASHVILLE, TENN. – Jersey Country, the sound which Williams Honor is becoming known for, has taken over America’s Pollstar Livestream Chart this past week, landing spots at #5, #8, #15, and #17. Their online show known as “The Willi Ho Show” has been airing each week since the pandemic hit in March and crippled the music business.

This duo just returned from Nashville where they were broadcasting live from socially distanced remote locations. After doing four “On the Road” episodes, they became the first country artists to ever hit the chart quadruple times in the Top 20 with over a quarter million cumulative views.

“We are in a brand-new era as content creators, and we want to entertain through these times. Our second full length album eX was almost ready for release, so we decided to preview the songs during livestreams and then, we got carried away as we realized it was time to pivot,” says Gordon Brown, producer and co-writer for the Jersey duo. “We never thought this was going to last three seasons and thirty plus episodes. We actually have over eighty hours of content sitting there for our audience, on demand at any time. We’ve performed and discussed our full music history with a catalogue of songs spanning our entire separate careers, including mR rEALITY, Samhill, HWY9, and Reagan solo.

“These times have been uncertain for all, no matter who you are or what you do,” says lead singer and co-writer Reagan Richards, “We needed to find some way to connect to ourselves, each other, and our audience. We wanted to introduce new music from our upcoming album, plus perform the songs that our WHArmy have been singing along to. We added four new covers every week, including a Jersey Country metal song, and never repeated them.”

Then all of a sudden, show bits just seemed to come easily to them.  Reagan continues, “I grew up doing skits and characters. My family and I didn’t just tell about our day at the dinner table, but we acted them out. I loved shows like SNL, MTV’s Unplugged and Letterman. My Dad introduced me to Hee Haw and The Opry. Our show really is all of those combined on a shoestring budget. We have a Show and Tell segment, which presents our past musical history thru press clips, magazines, books, and video; WH trivia and contest giveaways; a musical guest named Adelaide, who is a lil’ Southern charmer, yet often misunderstood gal, who wants a regular spot on the show but can’t get any lyrics correct; G Pups, a broken hearted, one eyed wonder puppet who continues to look for love in all the wrong places and a 5lb Yorkie named Hughy, who has stolen all of our viewers hearts.”

Each week, on WHednesday night at 6:30PM CT, “The Willi Ho Show” has been presented by Nashville-based Centerstage Magazine, having created quite an outlet for country music fans and helping to build a passionate audience all over the map. “We love working with Centerstage,” says Richards. “They have really become part of the team and they just want to see everyone succeed.”

Williams Honor was also just voted Jersey’s “Best of the Best” Bands by 94.3 The Point, Jersey Shore’s pop station, which is not where you might expect to hear country music. The contest was announced on-air and was an online fan voted event. The Jersey Chapter of the WHArmy made sure they got involved.
