New multi-use music venue & event space coming to Chattanooga

Chattanooga, TENN – JR Facility Management, which is based in Nashville, Tennessee, is proud to announce that they are opening a new mid-sized music venue and events space in Chattanooga this winter.

The new venue will be located next door to Southside Social in Chattanooga at 1810 Chestnut Street.

“Chattanooga is the first place I ever did a show, outside of Nashville.  An immense number of my fondest concert memories of the last 15 years have been formed at Chattanooga concerts,” said Chris Cobb, Co-founder/Co-Owner of JR Facility Management. “Thank you for the opportunity to continue being a part of your live music ecosystem and bring a grassroots venue to your city.  Here’s to the next 15 years and all the memories yet to be formed!”

Cobb has booked numerous shows in Chattanooga over the years including Here Come the Mummies, The Wailers, Henry Rollins, Mindy Smith, Will Hoge, Emerson Lee Hart, Sister Hazel, Saliva, Family Force 5, The Infamous Stringdusters, Matt Kearney, Rainbow Kitten Surprise, Perpetual Groove, Violent Femmes, JJ Grey & Mofro, The Magpie Salute and more.

And now, music-lovers will have a chance to weigh in on naming this new venue. From hundreds of entries, the choices have been narrowed to four possible names: Engine, The Ruby, The Signal or Southside and you can visit www.drinksandmusic.com/votenow until midnight on Monday, September 4 to cast your vote. The winning name will be announced on Tuesday, September 5 at www.DrinksAndMusic.com.

JRFM currently owns and operates Nashville’s Marathon Music WorksHurry Back and one of Music City’s oldest and most iconic music venues, Exit/In, which just celebrated its’ 46th anniversary.  The Truman opens in Kansas City on September 16.
