NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Collaborating with Country music icon Vince Gill, sleek singer-songwriter Brennin announces the exclusive world premiered of his new music video, “Rip Off the Rearview,” at midnight on Tuesday, April 11. The Oklahoma-native is among the next group of artists to join the CMT Artist Discovery campaign launched on CMT Music and CMT.com (see air times below). In anticipation of the release, which was filmed in Austin, TX and directed by the talented Britt West, the singer-songwriter performed Monday, April 10 at Winner’s Bar in Nashville for Whiskey Jam.
The single, which was released on Friday, March 3 after its debut on Rolling Stone Country, serves to raise awareness for victims of domestic violence. Partnering with YWCA of Nashville and Middle Tennessee, 50% of sales from the track goes towards victims of domestic abuse, as one in four women will experience abuse in their lifetime.
Known for his guest role as Sullivan Fitzgerald on the former ABC-turned-CMT hit series, “Nashville,” Brennin has toured and opened for artists such as Tracy Lawrence, Lee Ann Womack, and Charlie Daniels Band, across the US and Canada and appeared on numerous television shows, including the Ellen Degeneres Show and The X-Factor, where Simon Cowell praised the talented singer as having a “brilliant voice, with a great charisma that could be turned into a great artist.” After signing with Deluge Music, the singer-songwriter earned his cut, “I Can’t Do This,” on Vince Gill‘s 2016 album “Down To My Last Bad Habit” and was featured in Rolling Stone Country’s “10 New Country Artists You Need To Know.”
