Nick Dumas Releases “Details”

Emerging bluegrass artist Nick Dumas has made his most ambitious album to date with “Details,” demonstrating why he is one of the most diverse singular talents in the industry today. There is something about this album–maybe it’s the energy, the dynamics, the vocals, or the melodies–that makes it one of the most engaging bluegrass albums in recent memory.

“Details” is finally released after the release of the first three singles “Details,” “Riding the Boston and Maine,” and “We’d Go To Town,” which all spent weeks on both the bluegrass charts and numerous notable Spotify and Apple playlists. “Riding the Boston and Maine” and “We’d Go To Town” peaked at #3 on the bluegrass charts and continue to make appearances on the charts. “Riding the Boston and Maine” is currently nominated for Song of the Year by The Society for the Preservation of Bluegrass Music in America.

The album features brand new, never recorded-songs written by many prominent writers, including Becky Buller, Rick Lang, Carson Chamberlain, Mark Nesler, Tim Stafford, and Zach Top. The album also features musicians Carley Arrowood (fiddle, harmony vocals), Kenny Smith (guitar), Jed Clark (bass), Jeff Partin (dobro), Calib Smith (banjo), Russ Carson (banjo), Scott Vestal (banjo), and Zach Top (harmony vocals). The album was produced by Will McSeveney.

Now posted to join the pantheon of bluegrass musicians, Nick’s tireless energy, creativity, and positivity are never going to allow him to settle for anything less than his best.
