NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Double-Platinum-selling breakout artist Niko Moon is back with “EASY TONIGHT,” his first taste of new music since his acclaimed 2021 debut album GOOD TIME.
“Being out of the road, performing songs from GOOD TIME and feeling all the love and energy from people, has brought so much inspiration and creativity,” said Moon. “Seeing people having a GOOD TIME together and catching the vibe is part of the inspiration behind ‘EASY TONIGHT.’ It’s like a love song to your favorite bar. I just imagine it bringing people together and everyone taking it easy!”
SESAC’s 2021 Country Songwriter of the year, Moon reunited with his frequent collaborators Joshua Murty and wife Anna Moon to co-write the track, as well as Wyatt Durrette, Levi Lowrey, Patrick Davis, and Kevin Mac. Moon and Murty also produced the laid-back tune full of Moon’s signature good vibes and earworm hooks. To celebrate the release, Moon – who began weekly livestream shows in March 2020 to stay connected with fans during the pandemic – will host a special streaming performance Monday (4/18) at 7:00 p.m. CT on his Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok.
The artist Forbes declared an “engaging frontman” and Billboard lauded as a “one-man party” has previewed the track to sold-out crowds across the country on his just-wrapped GOOD TIME TOUR. With a catalogue fit for any summer playlist, Moon will bring his high-energy live show to fairs and festivals across the country including CMA Fest, Pepsi Gulf Coast Jam, Riverbend Festival, Summerfest, Windy City Smokeout, Boots and Hearts, Country Thunder, and more. He’ll also take the stage at CMC Rocks QLD 2022 in Australia, his first show down under.
