NASHVILLE, Tenn. – This summer, Outdoor Channel is premiering the highly-anticipated, new travel and outdoor adventure TV series, Nick’s Wild Ride, starring award-winning fiddle player and country artist, Nick Hoffman. The half-hour, 13-episode series will make it’s debut on the network Friday, July 1 at 7:30 pm ET/6:30 pm CT.
Hoffman, a former member of Kenny Chesney’s band, is a member of the country music trio THE FARM. He has also performed with music superstars Sara Evans, Keith Urban, Brooks & Dunn, John Mellencamp, Trace Adkins, Steve Miller, James Otto, and more.
Produced by Watermarc Productions and Ugly Duckling Entertainment, Nick’s Wild Ride is unlike other hunting or fishing shows. The Nowthen, Minnesota native and Nashville transplant goes beyond hunting and fishing to explore the music, food, culture, history and heartbeat of each stop he makes along his journey. The show’s aim is to reveal fascinating places and captivating people around the world.
Viewers will follow Hoffman as he explores interesting locations, hunts and fishes for unusual species, and dives into the culture of each place he visits. The first episode takes Hoffman to Louisiana, where he learns from locals how to make hot sauce. The host then travels the Mississippi River and hits the swamps to hunt turkey and catch crawfish. From hunting waterfowl in Nebraska and checking out the best microbreweries in Denver to spending time in the Argentine Republic capital of Buenos Aires to hunting javelina in Mexico, get on board with Hoffman to see where this wild ride ends up.
The series is part of Outdoor Channel’s Friday night “country” programming roster, which includes the return of new episodes of Craig Morgan All Access Outdoors, the debut of Nick’s Wild Ride, along with a slate of classic and modern western cinema blockbusters.
