Rising Country Star Slated To Share New Music At 10-Day Festival — Badenfahrt
NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Nashville recording artist and singer/songwriter, Parker Willingham (Apple Row Music Group), who recently celebrated the release of his new CD (YOU GET ME EVERY TIME), has taken his music to Baden, Switzerland where he is slated to appear at Badenfahrt—one of Switzerland’s largest festivals. Willingham will perform live during the grandiose 10-day event scheduled to be held August 18-27, 2017.
One of the most popular festivals among the inhabitants of Baden and neighboring regions, Badenfahrt is only held every 10 years. The entire city center is adorned and decorated in various themes. Local pubs, stages and market stalls will host shows, concerts, theater and musical performances to showcase an extraordinary array of musical talents. Willingham will appear on the honkytonk themed stage joined by a group of fellow musicians (including Nashville performing artists Nial Hay and Beth Beighey) as well as a handful of Swiss performers. He is scheduled to play three different shows each and every day over the entire course of the festival.
“I was invited to perform at this festival three years ago,” said Wilingham. “…and I can’t tell you how much I’ve been looking forward to it. It will be an honor, and a lifetime career experience, to share the stages with so many incredibly talented musicians from all around the world. It’s going to be 10 days loaded with fun. (I plan to eat my Wheaties!)”
The extended invitation came to Willingham as a must-see “regular.” He’s played Switzerland twelve times in various cities including Baden, Lenzerheide and Klosters and has been dubbed “The Tank” by local fans (identifying Willingham for his ability to perform famously for hours on end).
Willingham’s 2017 album (YOU GET ME EVERY TIME) is currently available via all digital retail outlets (iTunes/Spotify/Amazon).
