Nashville, Tenn. – Paul Bogart remains true to his cowboy roots with the new album Won’t Have Far To Go, released today. Exploring themes of love, marriage, children and hard work all while taking time to pause to reflect on a life well lived, the album will leave listeners with the feeling that they have been along for the ride the entire time. Bogart’s smooth vocals shine throughout the album as he seamlessly blends his take on beloved classics, “Ain’t No Sunshine” by Bill Withers and “I Still Haven’t Found What I’m Looking For” by U2, with his original songs. Listen to Won’t Have Far To Go here. The album was produced by renowned artist, songwriter and producer Trent Willmon.
“Won’t Have Far To Go is a compilation of over three years of hard work and I am so excited and thankful to be releasing this project,” says Bogart, adding, “These songs are all true to aspects of my life, whether it be enjoying the view from the back of a horse, on a beach with my wife, on the front porch watching her play with our two boys or having long talks with my Dad reflecting on life. I love telling my story through country music and I hope it shows through this album.”
“Anyone who loves George Strait will like Bogart’s music: his gentle singing, his reserved manner in his performances, the music and singing in the foreground, are what distinguish him. Here – like back then with Strait, equestrian sport and country music meet. It couldn’t be better!” – Country.de
“If this is a sign the backlash is kicking in, bring it on. Another spin through town for new traditionalists, this cowboy’s nostalgia only seems to go back as far as George Strait, but that’s ok, isn’t it? Real country like the kind commenters on YouTube keep saying they want to hear, betcha everyone from Ian Tyson to Garth Brooks could/would put a stamp of approval on this disc. Well done.” – Midwest Record
“The acoustic guitar underpinnings and swelling steel guitar, combined with Bogart’s easy, smooth vocal delivery, offer up shades of a young George Strait as Bogart delivers an understated, perfectly-drawn performance, propelled by an arrangement that is equally well-crafted.” – Taste of Country on “When She Gets A Hold on You”
The Boot calls “Never Grow Out of It” a “nostalgic anthem for small town USA” writing, “inspired by a ‘red rust Chevy truck’ that Bogart’s dad used to teach him to drive as a teen, ‘Never Grow Out of It’ uses that metaphor to speak for Bogart’s devotion to his small town and the love of his life.”
Bogart had quite the busy release week. He competed in the American Quarter Horse Association (AQHA) World Championship over the weekend winning Amateur Breakaway Roping and placing second in Amateur Heading. Bogart’s impressive skills were on display throughout the entire competition.

Bogart also notes his gratitude for his team, saying, “My producer, Trent Willmon, is always outstanding to work with. Of the 10 songs, I invited Zach Farnum to produce three of them and it was awesome getting to work with him as well! Special thanks to all the fantastic musicians who worked on this album, especially my road band; Cody Martin, Alex Nixon, Nick Palmer and Casey Driscoll. They are all fabulous players and it’s an honor to get to make music with them.”
Coming up on November 30, Bogart will be performing at the Pro Rodeo Hall of Fame’s 13th Annual Wrangler Gold Buckle Gala at Billy Bob’s Texas in Fort Worth, Texas.
