Paulina Jayne Emerges from Quarantine With A New Single, ‘Credit,’ A Joyful Noise That Will Bring You To Your Feet

NASHVILLE, TENN. — Urban country artist Paulina Jayne’s effusive new single, ‘Credit,’ which was virtually created during the COVID-19 quarantine, is now available on all platforms for downloading or streaming! The entertaining video, released a month ago, unveiled the novel production process, amassing nearly 40,000 views in the first few days alone and generating radio and television attention nationwide.

Paulina Jayne’s ‘Credit,’ co-written with Analisa Rotella, features Paulina’s Detroit band members and three renowned Nashville musicians who self-recorded their parts in their home studios. Paulina actually performed her vocals in her own closet amid stacks of boots and bling, making for a unique sound booth and film set for the video. Grammy Award winning producer, Mills Logan, then mixed and mastered the musical components in Nashville. The sound and message perfectly capture the personal pleasure of making music that stays in your head for hours with a humble message acknowledging that life’s positives are Heaven-sent.

Clearly, social distancing hasn’t slowed down Paulina Jayne and her crew’s creative output during the pandemic. Paulina says she has been “a writing fool” via facetime, and she has live-streamed acoustic performances nearly every week. Her band, anxious to return to performing live, eagerly signed-on to participate in her project. Grounded by Detroit-based drummer Miguel Gutierrez, John Gallo (formerly of Detroit and now of Nashville), Detroit bassist Chris Sykes, Nashville Hammond artist Jacob Tipton on keys, Nashville’s Kenny Greenberg on guitar, and with Tania Hancheroff as stellar back-up, you can literally hear the smile in Jayne’s voice throughout the infectious performance.

At a time when the nation is emerging from hibernation, ‘Credit’ delivers an inspirational boost that puts a skip in your step. The composition makes you want to dance out of the house and all the way down the driveway to gratefully welcome a new day, while its lyrics remind us who should get the ‘Credit’ for the comeback.
