Track Premieres Exclusively With Sounds Like Nashville
NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Newcomer PJ North released his lively new summer anthem “Turn It Up Some,” treating fans to an exclusive first listen Thursday (7/16) with Sounds Like Nashville, who called the track, the “propulsive tune to be the perfect soundtrack to a rowdy small-town party.” “Turn It Up Some” is now available on all digital platforms.

“My co-writer Frank and I are always down to write a party song and we really wanted to make that summer jam to kick it off right. “Turn It Up Some” is really my ode to songs that I loved to turn up when I was rolling around town blaring my radio,” said North. “We both feel like we were able to capture that Friday night party ambiance with both the production and the lyrics. Our goal was to make something that made you want to roll the windows down, drop whatever you were doing, and just live in the moment of the song.”
North released his latest EP You Wouldn’t Get It in April. The project features successful singles “Afraid of the Dark” and party song “Lites On”. It also features three brand new songs co-written by some of North’s Nashville cohorts, including Ryan Robinette, Davis Branch (Ray Fulcher Band), and Frank Legeay (Adam Doleac Band).
