Playing Historic Grand Ole Opry Stage Tomorrow, June 20
NASHVILLE, TN – Country music darling RaeLynn will be officially taking her empowering new single “Lonely Call” to country radio next Monday, June 26. She’ll be performing the song live tomorrow night, June 20, on the Grand Ole Opry stage along with other tracks from her “damn good” (Rolling Stone) #1 debut album, WILDHORSE.
When the Warner Music Nashville/Warner Bros. Records’ artist began the process of choosing a follow-up to “Love Triangle,” one of Rolling Stone’s Best Country Songs of 2016, she realized that the most important voice in that decision was her fans. A clear favorite kept raising its hand on social media since the day her album was made available, and that favorite was “Lonely Call.” Co-written with one of the album’s producers, Nicolle Galyon, and Rob Hawkins, “Lonely Call” is explained by NPR as rejecting “a wishy-washy ex without flinching, sending all of his calls to voicemail” while “steeling herself against the temptation to settle for his vacillating interest.”
This past weekend, the red-hot singer’s eponymous concert special aired on AUDIENCE Network’s new music program via DIRECTV, AT&T U-verse and on-demand through DIRECTV NOW. Fans can watch some behind-the-scenes clips (HERE) along with RaeLynn’s “My Story” interview (HERE). The “country Katy Perry” (Newsday) was also seen everywhere during this year’s CMA Music Fest, with Billboard praising her “impressive vocal performance” during her set at Riverfront Stage. RaeLynn is spending the summer touring fairs, festivals and more from coast-to-coast, with dates scheduled through September 23 in Indianapolis, IN.
