Watch the video HERE.
The touching video showcases Keegan’s big heart and caring demeanor as he arranges a surprise date for his love interest, leaving notes and hints on where to find him. His instructions are straightforward- ditch the fancy dress and makeup and come as you are. When they unite at the end, she’s dressed in denim shorts and a T-shirt for a colorful evening of balloon dart painting a la The Princess Diaries.
Keegan shares, “There is nothing more attractive than a girl being confident with herself. I wanted to make a point with this video that while we guys appreciate all the effort women feel pressured to put into their appearance in today’s society with social media, it truly is what’s on the inside that counts. It might sound cliché, but it’s the truth! I want you to be comfortable in your skin AND in comfortable shoes while we’re out enjoying each other’s company.” He laughs, “and some nights when this happens, you may not be going nowhere lookin’ like that!”
“Raleigh Keegan has quite a story to tell” (Popculture) as to how his life began at rock bottom. What’s important to him is focusing on how far he’s come. Still a fresh face in the Nashville music scene, the 6’4” former college football player has built a massive fan base – over 88,000 on socials – all on his own. He credits Google for the knowledge and intel he’s gathered on the music industry. The completely self-made artist prides himself on keeping his music “as organic as possible” and combining elements of both old and new country with a dash of soul. In addition to his killer vocals, the talented performer plays guitar, piano and the trombone.
In between tour dates, Keegan is in the studio working on new music to take with him around the country on his impressive tour schedule. He recently announced he would join the superstar lineup of Thomas Rhett, Eric Church, Brett Young, Cam and more at the Pepsi Gulf Coast Jam in Panama City Beach onAugust 31. Later this fall, he’ll perform at the second annual Party in the Pines Music Festival in White Springs, Florida alongside Little Big Town, Zac Brown Band, Dan + Shay and more.
