“Take Me Back (Where I Belong)” Marks Milestone
In Emerging Artist’s Turbulent Journey
NASHVILLE, TENN – Few have weathered as many setbacks in life as Regan Ziegler. But this Kansas-born singer/songwriter has survived each one and come back with a personal yet accessible sound that’s bound to rock the country world. His debut single, “Take Me Back (Where I Belong)“ is available now at major digital retailers including Amazon Music, Apple Music, iTunes and Spotify, to name a few. The song ignites with an irresistible Latin-flavored groove, while Ziegler’s strong tenor vocals establish the tune’s hooks. Upbeat, optimistic rhythms strike an intriguing contrast against the lyric’s ruminations on loneliness, regret, and getting “back where I belong.” Written by Ziegler, “Take Me Back” teases the release of his first EP, scheduled to drop in the fall of 2018.
Ziegler comes into the spotlight via a sometimes difficult path. From his small-town beginnings and after earning his accounting degree at the University of Kansas, he embarked on an epic pursuit of his musical dreams, which led him first to Los Angeles and eventually to Nashville. Highs and lows awaited him in Music City, including the unanticipated dissolution of his business and a medical battle that nearly took his life. But overcoming these events ultimately reaffirmed his faith and inspired an even greater determination to make himself heard.
As Ziegler puts it, “These days, I am looking forward only, with the knowledge that God is with me and that nothing can prevent me from reaching my destination. Fair to say, I’ve got all the incentive I need to get back where I belong.”
