NASHVILLE, Tenn. –  River House Artists’ up-and-coming singer-songwriter Reid Haughton debuts with his groovy new single, “Day You Don’t,” available everywhere now. Accompanied by a music video, “Day You Don’t” is backed by a roaring choir with a rollicking guitar lick, reflecting Haughton’s Southern rock influences. Produced by Sadler Vaden and written by Haughton, Rivers Rutherford, Ben Foster and Joybeth Taylor, the soulful track with telecaster twang finds Haughton longing for the day his love interest realizes she can do better than the guy she is currently with, singing I get the feeling that you’re feeling something’s missing / but you’re too scared to let him go / and it’s a shame you think he’s good as you’ll be getting / but I can’t wait until the day you don’t.

“‘Day You Don’t’ was one of the first songs I had been a part of that truly sounded like the music I listen to daily and have been influenced by,” shares Haughton. “I grew up on Southern and classic rock sounds, so taking my music more in that direction has always been on my mind, and writing ‘Day You Don’t’ showed me that I could do that. This song sets the tone for what’s to come and I’m so excited to get it out there!”

Last week, Haughton was featured in Hoda’s Morning Boost on NBC’s TODAY after his TikTok video went viral. In the video, Haughton soothes his friend’s crying baby by performing his soon-to-be released song “She Is.” Check out the TODAY shoutout here.

To celebrate the start of a new chapter of music from the rising talent artist, Haughton will take over Nashville’s The Basement on Monday, Jan. 23 with special guest Brian Fuller. Tickets are free on a first come, first served basis. With plans to release more new music in 2023 via River House Artists, Haughton will embark on tour with fellow Country artist Tyler Booth this February.
