NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Americana-country artist Renn celebrated the 4th of July holiday and a career milestone of over one million Spotify streams Monday with the release of new single, “Other Side of Rain”. It’s the second from his debut album Heartache and a Song – the first of which, “King of California”, released late last year and has already seen nearly 900,000 streams on its own.
Renn’s initial recognition came when he was a featured artist with Nashville’s Lightning 100 – a station popular for breaking new, independent acts. With the debut of “King of California”, the artist went #41 on Nashville’s Shazam regional chart. The song is currently featured on Spotify’s Country Coffeehouse playlist.
Aside from an already successful solo career, Renn’s played guitar for both Danielle Bradbery and The Swon Brothers, opening for Keith Urban, Rascal Flatts and Zac Brown Band.
